Now, I don’t recommend eating cookies for breakfast (often), but at 99 calories for two these are the perfect mid-morning or afternoon snack. The oats and bananas are filling, and the chocolate chips give you the perfect punch of sugar without going overboard.
One caution, though. This recipe only makes about 10 cookies. I usually double it and stick half in the freezer (so the snacking gremlin I live with doesn’t eat them all right away).
- 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup uncooked quick oats
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a non-stick cookie sheet with cooking spray.
Combine the mashed bananas and oats in a bowl. Fold in the chocolate chips and place a tablespoon of each on the cookie sheet.
